30 Sept
Walked 15.3 miles, mainly through the forest today. Got very wet in the morning but dried out in wind later. Had to go off route 4 accommodation, again! Yesterday got 20 pounds donation, day before 30 pounds! We looked 4 the eagle owl in the forest but did not see it this time.
I'm a retired Civil Servant, a volunteer cook for the Tall Ships Youth Trust and a School Governor at Kyson Primary School in Woodbridge. I was married for 33 years and now live close to my daughter and 2 grandchildren, who are the focus and joy of my life. I also love long-distance walking, cycling, gardening, reading, sudoku and too much else to mention. My philosophy on life is the same as my blood group (B+!!)
