Day 13
A short day today, only 9.15 miles in 2hrs 56mins. Most of it along the joint Macmillan and Monarch Way by the river Churn. The Romans must have liked the huge snails around here. We did some shopping in Cirencester - new boots for G and knee supports for me.
I'm a retired Civil Servant, a volunteer cook for the Tall Ships Youth Trust and a School Governor at Kyson Primary School in Woodbridge. I was married for 33 years and now live close to my daughter and 2 grandchildren, who are the focus and joy of my life. I also love long-distance walking, cycling, gardening, reading, sudoku and too much else to mention. My philosophy on life is the same as my blood group (B+!!)
