Day 8

Another short day today. Only 10.8 miles in 3 hrs 31 mins. Glorious sunshine but no pub 4 lunch. We stopped 4 a cup of tea on the roadside by a farm and the farmer came out 4 a chat and gave us a 20 pound donation! We later stopped at the National Trust house at Canons Ashby 4 a great ploughman's lunch before walking the short mile to our accommodation.
