Day 5 end

12.3 miles in 3hrs 56mins. George turned to say something to me, stepped back and fell into a 4ft drainage ditch! No damage, fortunately and I tried not to laugh! Have decided to make each day a max, rather than an average, of 15 miles. The 19 mile ones are just a bit too far with the fields having just been ploughed. Still enjoying it and seeing some wonderful flora and fauna.
